About ENA

www.ena.org.nz

The Electricity Networks Association (ENA) represents the interests of the organisations that distribute electricity to consumers throughout New Zealand, the countrys electricity lines companies generally known as the lines sector. They are a lean organization (one full time and two part time staff) funded by a levy on members, and overseen by an elected board appointed annually at the Associations annual general meeting.

ENA doesnt represent electricity retailers (the companies that sell electricity, which are mainly owned by generators), nor the government-owned transmission company Transpower - that carries electricity from power stations to the various connection points where ENA members take over.

ENA's members are listed in the Links area or their website and you can find out more about each of them by clicking on the relevant area in the Map of line company supply areas.
